Saturn is known to have 53 moons around its rings, and it seems that the planet has gained one more moon, according to news reports.

NASA’s space probe Cassini-Huygens, which has been watching Saturn since 2004, recently spotted a small shape in the planet’s outermost ring.

Scientists believe that what has just been found is an additional moon made from rock, dust and ice around Saturn’s rings.

Saturn has thousands of rings around its equator and is thus called “the ringed planet.”
