Everyone calls 6-year-old Charlie Tillotson the real-life Rapunzel. The only thing that makes her different from the popular animation character is that she is going to chop off her hair for kids suffering from cancer.

Tillotson, living on the southwestern English coast, had grown her hair to more than two and a half feet in length. But one day she saw kids battling cancer on TV and decided to donate her hair to them.

“I’ve always been against her having her hair cut off because she’s never wanted that, but I couldn’t really say no,” her father Steve Tillotson said about his daughter’s decision.

The family set up a page on JustGiving, which runs fundraising movements and so far her account has collected about $2,371.
