Every summer, teens aged 13 to 19 in the U.S. vote for their favorite movie, music, TV stars to determine the winners of the Teen Choice Awards. It’s time for them to have a say.

Winning the award means earning top adolescent adulation as well as going home with one of the coveted Teen Choice surfboards.

This year’s Teen Choice Awards ceremony was held on Aug. 10 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Two stars from “The Fault in Our Stars” nabbed the prize.

Ansel Elgort became the top man in a movie drama and Shailene Woodley grabbed an award for her role in “Divergent.”

“Hopefully I’ll be brave enough to take this into the water during Shark Week,” the witty actress said after winning the surfboard.
