Jessica Alba, a Hollywood actress and Honest Company founder, talked about how to utilize her femininity as CEO in the latest issue of a fashion magazine Cosmopolitan.

Alba said her femininity pays off when dealing with male colleagues.

“Whenever they question me in meetings, I’m like, ‘Go home and ask your wife. This is a pointless conversation. Go home and talk to her.‘”

Alba launched her natural product line named the Honest Company in 2011, which is now valued at $1.7 billion.

The 34-year-old is one of the richest women in the U.S., according to Forbes magazine.
