MINI Korea launches four dealer-exclusive Countryman limited editions

MINI Korea is launching a series of limited-edition Countryman models developed with its domestic official dealers. Each variant features a distinct configuration drawn from customer preferences and lifestyle insights gathered at dealerships.

The company announced Monday it will release "The MINI Countryman S ALL4 Dealer Tailored Edition" through the MINI Shop Online.

Built on the MINI Countryman S ALL4, the edition is part of MINI Korea's "Customization 2.0" strategy introduced this year — a push to offer bespoke limited-run models tailored to local customer tastes.

Four official dealers participated in the project: Dongsung Motors, Kolon Motors, Bavarian Motors and Deutsche Motors. Each dealer drew on feedback accumulated through direct customer contact to differentiate its model's exterior color, design elements, convenience features and exclusive accessories.

The Dongsung Tailored Edition takes inspiration from the nighttime sea at Haeundae. It pairs a Midnight Black exterior with a black grille, black skid plate, black roof and mirror caps, and 19-inch JCW Runway Spoke Black alloy wheels. Inside, an anthracite headliner and black-and-blue sport seats set the tone, and buyers receive a MINI JCW key wallet.

The Kolon Tailored Edition focuses on high-demand specifications to maximize product appeal. It marks the first time Legend Gray has been offered on the MINI Countryman S ALL4, paired with a black grille, black skid plate, black roof and mirror caps, and 18-inch Asteroid Black alloy wheels for a composed yet sporty look. The interior features gray-and-blue sport seats in Vescin and fabric, and the model comes with MINI all-season floor mats.

The Bavarian Tailored Edition was created to mark Bavarian Motors' 30th anniversary. It shares the Midnight Black exterior, black grille, black skid plate, black roof and mirror caps, and 19-inch JCW Runway Spoke Black alloy wheels of the Dongsung edition, but adds a MINI roof rack as standard — a nod to customers who enjoy outdoor activities. The interior carries gray-and-blue sport seats in Vescin and fabric.

The Deutsche Tailored Edition emphasizes an urban lifestyle and a premium feel. It combines a Smoky Green exterior with a Vibrant Silver grille, roof, mirror caps and skid plate, and rides on 20-inch Windmill Spoke alloy wheels. For the first time on the MINI Countryman, it features Vescin JCW sport seats in beige and vintage brown. Buyers also receive a Favored-theme rear decal and a crystal key case.

All four models share the same powertrain: a MINI TwinPower Turbo gasoline engine producing 204 horsepower and 30.6 kg·m of torque, paired with a seven-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission. The sprint from zero to 100 kilometers per hour takes 7.4 seconds.

Driver assistance and convenience features come standard across the lineup. Every model includes Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus, along with MINI Operating System 9, a Korea-specific MINI navigation system based on T-map, Comfort Access and a two-zone automatic climate control system.

Prices include VAT and reflect a temporary individual consumption tax reduction: the Dongsung Tailored Edition is priced at 51 million won (about $33,900), the Kolon Tailored Edition at 51.1 million won (about $34,000), the Bavarian Tailored Edition at 51.5 million won (about $34,300) and the Deutsche Tailored Edition at 56.8 million won (about $37,800).

Customers who purchase any edition will receive a specially produced "Year of the Red Horse" commemorative badge. MINI Korea said it plans to expand its strategy of offering customized models that reflect domestic customers' tastes and usage environments.
