Actor Kim Gwang-gyu fulfills dream of owning Seoul home after 28 years
Actor Kim Gwang-gyu has fulfilled a dream 28 years in the making: owning a home in Seoul.
Kim appeared Saturday on MBC's "Nol-myeon Mwo Hani?," a TV variety show.
Kim opened up about plans that preceded the move. "About a year ago, I started thinking about opening a small noodle shop — the ingredients are cheap and I figured I could learn the recipes," Kim said. "Being alone at home makes me feel down, so I thought it would be nice to meet new people and talk."
In response, Yoo Jae-suk turned to Heo Gyeong-hwan and said, "I don't know about others, but you should look after Gwang-gyu." Heo replied, "Can't you move somewhere nearby so it's easier for me to check on you?"
Kim then revealed the move had already happened. "I moved. I took out a loan and bought a place — a fully older-build apartment," Kim said, disclosing the new address was in Yeonhui-dong. Yoo added, "Honestly, it would be great if Songdo were included in that area, but it's hard to come out there for schedules."
