2030 supporters help showcase NH Oneul Nongsa features; lunchtime event targets office workers to boost agricultural consumption
The Nonghyup Central Federation held a hands-on event to expand use of its farming platform NH Oneul Nongsa and encourage consumption of domestic agricultural produce.
Nonghyup hosted the participatory event "Green Pick Day" on May 29 at the plaza of its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with the NH Oneul Nongsa 2030 Supporters group.
The event ran as a lunchtime picnic, letting participants choose and try programs of their own interest. It was designed to give office workers a chance to experience the NH Oneul Nongsa service and raise awareness of domestic produce.
At the venue, participants took part in an NH Oneul Nongsa quiz, checked real-time agricultural market prices through the app, and received agricultural products and character merchandise. Promotional booths offering coffee and rice-processed foods were also set up. A lucky-draw event and other interactive programs rounded out the day.
The NH Oneul Nongsa 2030 Supporters helped run the event, handling program planning, on-site operations and promotional activities.
"This event was designed to let people experience NH Oneul Nongsa firsthand and become more familiar with our domestic produce," said Jo Cheong-rae, head of the planning and coordination division at the Nonghyup Central Federation. "We will continue working through both online and offline activities to boost app usage and promote agricultural consumption."
