SK Intellix launches two AI-powered security services for NAMUHX robot platform

SK Intellix has unveiled new security-enhanced services for its NAMUHX wellness robot platform, stepping up its push to expand lifestyle-focused robot services.

The company announced Monday the launch of Safe Care, an intelligent security service for NAMUHX, and Live View, a real-time remote monitoring service.

Both services are built on a mobile security system that combines autonomous driving technology with vision AI to cover blind spots left by fixed CCTV cameras.

Safe Care uses AI to independently identify intruders and detect dangerous situations. Through the dedicated HiNAMU app, users can configure customized security modes — including focused surveillance of specific zones or full patrol sweeps. The service sends real-time alerts when anomalies are detected and is integrated with S1, a professional security firm, to enable 24-hour emergency dispatch.

Service use, robot control and emergency response are all managed through the HiNAMU app. Two pricing tiers are available: the Basic plan at 4,900 won per month covers real-time detection and alerts, while the Plus plan at 12,900 won (about $9) per month adds one free monthly emergency dispatch through S1's security infrastructure along with compensation benefits in the event of theft or fire.

Live View, launched alongside Safe Care, is a real-time video streaming service available free of charge to NAMUHX customers. Users can remotely control the robot through the app to check on different areas of their home in real time.

The service is particularly useful for those away from home, allowing users to remotely monitor children, elderly parents or pets. It also supports two-way voice communication.

To mark the launch, SK Intellix is running a two-month promotional campaign offering both the Basic and Plus plans free of charge. The company also plans to expand customer engagement through a "Living with Robots" campaign and the release of short-form content.
