Cheonan-Asan Station Grand City Philhaus Block 1, a new residential complex in Baebang-eup, Asan — home to Samsung Electronics' Onyang campus, Samsung Display and Samsung SDI — is scheduled for pre-sale in June.
The complex will be built in the Hyudae district south of Cheonan-Asan Station, rising up to 28 above-ground floors over two below-ground levels across 14 buildings. It will offer 1,534 units with exclusive use areas of 84 and 103 square meters, of which 1,380 units will be available for general pre-sale.
The Cheonan-Asan area is home to major industrial facilities including Samsung Electronics' Onyang campus, Samsung Display and Samsung SDI. As semiconductor, display and secondary battery industries continue to cluster in the region, housing demand among workers in those sectors has been growing.
The Hyudae district, where the complex will be located, is a new residential development taking shape south of Cheonan-Asan Station. Residents will have access to the living zones of Cheonan's Buldang district and the Tangjeong district, as well as proximity to major industrial facilities including Samsung Electronics' Onyang campus, Samsung Display and Samsung SDI.
Everyday amenities are also within reach. The Galleria Department Store Centercity branch, Traders Wholesale Club's Cheonan-Asan location and E-mart's Cheonan store are all nearby, and residents can also access the hagwon belt, hospitals and commercial facilities in the Buldang district.
Education facilities are planned in phases. A kindergarten site is designated in front of the complex, and an elementary school is set to open in March 2029. Within the broader living zone, Seolhwa Middle School, Yi Sun-sin High School, Seolhwa High School, Samsung High School and Chungnam Foreign Language High School are all located nearby.
The complex will also benefit from natural surroundings, with the Cheonan Stream, a neighborhood park and green spaces close at hand. Landscaping and walking paths are planned within the development, along with community facilities including an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and guesthouse.
A model home will be set up in Buldang-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan.
