HD Hyundai Heavy disclosed Monday it signed a contract with an Asia-based shipping company to build eight very large gas carriers.
The deal is valued at 1.4161 trillion won (approximately $942 million), equivalent to 8.05 percent of the company's 2025 sales.
The contract runs through June 30, 2030.
