Kim Mi-kyung Launches Final Campaign Blitz in Eunpyeong-gu Push for District Mayor

Kim Mi-kyung, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Eunpyeong-gu district mayor, held a "final concentrated rally" at GTX Yeonsin849 Plaza on Tuesday, the day before voting in the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections, joined by the party's city and district council candidates, party members and supporters.

The event, held on the last day of official campaigning, showcased the Democratic Party's united-front spirit. National Assembly member Kim Woo-young and all city and district council candidates running in the local elections gathered at the rally site alongside a large crowd of supporters.

Taking the microphone, Rep. Kim Woo-young urged voters to turn out, saying the remaining four years of the Lee Jae Myung administration represent "a golden opportunity for South Korea to achieve a second leap forward and revive the nation." He called on residents to "make sure to vote so that we can put South Korea back on a launchpad and build a country that will not waver."

After all the city and district council candidates had spoken, Kim Mi-kyung took the microphone and bowed in gratitude to the residents and supporters filling the plaza. She said she had felt "a burning desire for Eunpyeong's greater leap forward in the warm encouragement of residents I met in every corner of the district over 36 days of campaigning." She asked voters to "give Jeong Won-o, give Kim Mi-kyung, give the Democratic Party of Korea candidates the chance to run with our eyes fixed solely on Eunpyeong-gu." She closed the rally by expressing thanks to campaign workers, volunteers and nearby merchants.
