Incheon Port Authority seeks youth participants for work experience program

The Incheon Port Authority is accepting applications through June 14 for the second round of its 2026 Future Tomorrow Youth Work Experience (Project Type) program.

The recruitment drive, which opened June 1, is part of IPA's effort to give young people in the Incheon area hands-on experience in public administration and port operations.

IPA runs the project-based program twice a year for university students enrolled at Incheon institutions or residing in the Incheon area, offering participants real work experience within the authority.

The first round launched May 4 and is supporting 47 youth participants; it is scheduled to wrap up June 26.

The second round will accommodate three teams of four, for a total of 12 participants. The assigned project focuses on analyzing bulk cargo volume at Incheon Port and researching ways to improve berth operational efficiency — work expected to offer meaningful experience for students majoring in logistics.

Prospective participants must form teams of four and apply through the Future Tomorrow Youth Work Experience Portal using the project brief IPA has prepared.

Selected students will complete a two-day orientation and pre-work training session June 25 and 26, then carry out the eight-week work experience project from June 29 through Aug. 21.
