Kuwait's Ministry of National Defense confirms attack; international airport suspends operations

Kuwait International Airport suspended operations after Iran launched missile and drone strikes against the facility.
According to Yonhap News Agency, citing Reuters, Kuwait's Ministry of National Defense said that day that the Iranian attack caused serious damage to airport buildings and facilities and resulted in casualties.
Kuwaiti aviation authorities diverted incoming flights to nearby airports in response.
