Rolls-Royce unveils Spectre Series II electric super coupe with expanded bespoke options

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars on Thursday unveiled the Spectre Series II and Black Badge Spectre Series II, evolved versions of the brand's first all-electric super coupe.

The new models feature significant upgrades in performance, range and bespoke customization options. The Spectre Series II uses redesigned battery cell technology to achieve a WLTP-rated range of 628 kilometers on a single charge — up 18 percent over its predecessor — while cutting charging time by up to 14 percent.

The drivetrain has also been retuned for improved responsiveness and control. The high-performance Black Badge Spectre Series II delivers a peak output of 500 kW in Infinity mode and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm in Spirited mode, making it the most powerful model in Rolls-Royce history.

The exterior retains the original Spectre's fastback silhouette and split headlamp design, with the addition of a new color, Ethereal Blue. Newly introduced 23-inch forged alloy wheels feature a multifaceted multi-spoke design engineered to reflect light with precision from different angles.

The interior gains a host of new bespoke options. Among the highlights is Duality Twill, a fabric interior made from rayon derived from bamboo. Each piece uses up to 2.6 million stitches and approximately 16 kilometers of thread, with production taking up to 25 hours.

A new Placed Perforation leather option has also been introduced, featuring a pattern of 78,138 perforations inspired by the silhouette of clouds in moonlight.

The dashboard receives a new illuminated fascia inspired by the mists of the South Downs near Goodwood, with 8,108 pixel lights creating a flowing, wave-like pattern. A new clock design drawn from aircraft instrument panels has also been incorporated.

The Black Badge Spectre Series II adds exclusive design elements, including a new Iced Black exterior detail option that applies a matte black finish to the grille surround, bumper inserts, door handles and the Spirit of Ecstasy. A dedicated seven-spoke wheel is also new to the model, offered for the first time in an Iced Matte Black finish.
