Robot education company XROBO has unveiled Xcoding, a coding platform developed for robot education environments.
Xcoding is built around XROBO's curriculum and focuses on streamlining the setup process that has traditionally complicated robot coding classes. Where instructors previously had to walk students through device connections, driver installations and sample file downloads before lessons could begin, Xcoding simplifies the coding and upload process to cut that preparation time.
The platform incorporates simplified driver installation, sample file loading, faster upload speeds, coding module switching, a live servo function and auto-save.
The live servo function lets users check and adjust servo motor angles in real time without a separate upload step.
A switching function between Extreme Coding and X-Line modules also lets instructors run a range of educational content from a single platform.
"We developed the platform to improve ease of use in education settings," a company official said, adding that XROBO plans to continue refining its educational content and features.
