Gwanghui, a broadcaster and former member of the boy group ZE:A, drew laughs recently when he shared an update on his life.
A video titled "No friends here! I just want to go on a reward vacation together" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Halmyeongsu" on Tuesday.
The clip followed Park Myung-soo as he tried to recruit a guest to join him on a reward vacation offered by the show's production team.
Park called Gwanghui, and when Gwanghui picked up immediately, Park expressed surprise. "Were you waiting for my call? You answered right away," he said. Gwanghui replied, "Of course I pick up right away. Jingyeong unni told me you have to answer immediately if you want work to come in."
Park then asked, "You must be busy these days. What's your biggest gig right now?" Gwanghui answered, "Thankfully, I've been getting a lot more work lately, which is great. Honestly, my main job is selling things — commerce," drawing another round of laughs.
"They use you because you're good at it. Who would hire you if you couldn't sell?" Park said, giving Gwanghui a boost. Gwanghui played along, quipping, "Gotta sell the goods. We sell laughs and we sell products."
Gwanghui made a name for himself early in his career with sharp comedic instincts and quick wit, appearing on a wide range of entertainment programs alongside his music career. He shares a particularly close bond with Park, having been fellow members on MBC's "Infinite Challenge."
