Shrines to operate at worksites nationwide through June 25
Hanwha Aerospace said Friday it will operate joint memorial altars at its worksites across the country to honor those who died in the accident at its Daejeon facility on June 1.
The altars will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from Friday through June 25 at 10 locations nationwide, including the Hanwha Building in Janggyo-dong, Seoul.
The 10 sites are the Janggyo-dong Hanwha Building, Changwon Plant 1, Changwon Plant 2, Changwon Plant 3, the Asan plant, the Daejeon plant, the Daejeon R&D Center, the Boeun plant, the Yeosu plant and the Pangyo R&D Center.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the deceased and their families," a Hanwha Aerospace official said. "We have prepared this space of remembrance with the hope that all of our employees can come together to pray for the repose of those we have lost."
