Coupang Logistics Service launches nationwide heat illness prevention campaign

Coupang Logistics Service (CLS) announced Thursday that it is rolling out a heat illness prevention campaign targeting contract delivery drivers arriving at major logistics camps nationwide, starting with its Ilsan Camp 1 location. On May 29, CLS set up a health management booth at Ilsan Camp 1 in partnership with KMI Korean Medical Institute (KMI), offering consultations on heat illness prevention, a rolling raffle event to encourage health checkup reservations, and heat illness prevention kits. KMI medical staff provided personalized advice on prevention measures based on each driver's health condition.

CLS signed an MOU with KMI — the first such agreement in the industry — and provides contract delivery drivers with free health checkups and tailored health management programs. Beyond routine checkups, the company also runs an eight-week dietary improvement program for drivers who need ongoing care, delivered through one-on-one consultations with medical professionals.
