SK Broadband to stream Seoul environmental film festival titles free on B tv

SK Broadband will offer key selections from the Seoul International Eco Film Festival free of charge on B tv. The company announced Friday that it will run a "B tv Special Theater" featuring highlights from the 23rd Seoul International Eco Film Festival on B tv and mobile B tv from June 6 through June 30.

The Seoul International Eco Film Festival is South Korea's leading film festival dedicated to environmental issues. SK Broadband is the only one of the three major IPTV providers to sponsor the festival, a streak it has maintained for six consecutive years. As in previous years, the company will make the festival's key titles available free to B tv customers.

The special theater will carry a total of 71 titles, including both domestic and international features and shorts. Among the featured full-length films is "9/11: Retaking Ground Zero," directed by Josh Saviano. The film follows New York residents as they search for their own answers amid disputes over the future of Ground Zero in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Also screening is "Dust to Dust," directed by Kosai Sekine. The film traces a journey from a clothing-waste landfill in Kenya to the runways of Paris, exploring the possibilities of sustainable fashion.
