LX Pantos to supply new summer work uniforms to partner companies

LX Pantos announced Tuesday it will distribute new work uniforms and safety supplies to partner companies to help prevent heat-related illness during the summer. The logistics firm said the initiative aims to protect the health of workers at distribution sites and foster a prevention-focused safety culture built on mutual cooperation with its partners. Around 3,000 field workers across 100 partner companies are eligible for the support.

The new uniform is a short-sleeved collared shirt made from lightweight fabric with ventilation and moisture-wicking properties. Fluorescent orange coloring and reflective strips have been added to improve worker visibility on site. Previously, workers had to wear a separate safety vest over their uniforms, adding to heat discomfort and physical burden. The redesigned shirt integrates the safety vest's functions directly into the garment, reducing that burden and improving comfort during work. In addition, workers will receive safety supplies including electrolyte glucose tablets, cooling arm sleeves, cooling towels and a heat-index thermometer to help with hydration, body temperature management and on-site temperature and humidity monitoring.

"Heat-related health risks grow significantly at logistics sites during the summer, so special caution against heat illness is especially important," an LX Pantos official said.
