Aekyung Industry announced Tuesday that it donated roughly 600 million won ($388,000) worth of oral health products from its oral care brand 2080 to mark Oral Health Day.
The donation was organized to honor the month dedicated to national patriots and war veterans, with support directed toward recipients of state merit recognition as well as group homes and community children's centers.
The donated items include children's oral health products along with 2,080 tubes of toothpaste and 2,080 toothbrushes. The products will be delivered through the Korea Disabled Veterans Organization's Gyeonggi Province chapter and the Buseureogi Love Sharing Association.
Aekyung Industry has made annual donations of 2080 oral health products on Oral Health Day as part of its ongoing efforts to promote dental health in local communities.
"We will continue sharing warmth with neighbors in need through community-focused corporate social responsibility activities," a company official said.
