Jeju Air unveils ZEROBASEONE-wrapped aircraft for international routes

Jeju Air announced Wednesday that it has unveiled a special aircraft wrapped in imagery of global K-pop group ZEROBASEONE.

The livery was created to mark the release of ZEROBASEONE's sixth mini album, "Ascend-." Different images of the group appear on each side of the fuselage to heighten the visual impact.

The ZEROBASEONE-wrapped aircraft launched service Wednesday on the Incheon–Tokyo (Narita) route and will operate on Jeju Air's international routes to Japan, Greater China and Southeast Asia for roughly five months through late November.

Jeju Air also introduced special boarding passes featuring ZEROBASEONE imagery ahead of the aircraft's debut. The limited-edition passes have been distributed to passengers checking in at the counter on all international routes departing Incheon since May 18.

Last month, the airline held a music download and comment event offering round-trip Incheon–Tokyo tickets and ZEROBASEONE-autographed CDs as prizes. A new-member event targeting global fans in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong was also held.

Fuselage wrapping is one of the marketing tools Jeju Air actively employs. The airline has pursued a range of intellectual property collaborations, drawing on the high visibility of its aircraft and the differentiated customer experiences they provide.

"Through the ZEROBASEONE-wrapped aircraft, we plan to offer domestic and international customers a unique brand experience and the joy of travel," a Jeju Air official said. "We will continue to expand our differentiated marketing activities through diverse IP collaborations."
