Orion to restock sold-out Moist Yellow Cheese Chip with third production run

Orion's Moist Yellow Cheese Chip — a snack that sold out almost as soon as it hit shelves — will return to online and offline channels starting the third week of June in what the company is calling a third additional production run.

Orion confirmed the new production run Wednesday, industry sources said. The snack was originally launched in February as a spring limited edition.

The product won fans with its sweet-and-salty profile, combining a soft cookie base with the savory punch of yellow cheese. Word of mouth spread rapidly on social media, triggering a string of sellouts.

Orion decided on this third run after a second additional production run in mid-April. The snack will also be available June 15 and 16 through Orion's Naver brand store as part of a "First-Half Fan-Favorite Snack" sale event.
