TIGER Hyundai Motor Group Plus ETF
Mirae Asset Global Investments said Wednesday that the net assets of its TIGER Hyundai Motor Group Plus exchange-traded fund have grown eightfold since the start of the year.
According to Korea Exchange, the fund's net assets reached 935.9 billion won (about $616 million), up more than eightfold from 111.4 billion won at the end of last year. The surge has been driven by growing expectations that Hyundai Motor Group will expand its physical AI business, following the group's unveiling of the humanoid robot Atlas at CES 2026 earlier this year. Individual net purchases since the start of the year reached 377.8 billion won. Enthusiasm has climbed further after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang met with Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung to discuss wide-ranging cooperation spanning autonomous driving, robotics and future manufacturing systems. The two also shared plans for a "Saemangeum AI Valley," according to people familiar with the matter.
The TIGER Hyundai Motor Group Plus ETF concentrates its investment in major Hyundai Motor Group affiliates, led by Hyundai Motor (35.1 percent), Kia (21.7 percent) and Hyundai Mobis (16.3 percent).
