Kyochon donates 10 million won in scholarships to Woosong University culinary school

Kyochon F&B held a scholarship presentation ceremony at Woosong University's College of Food and Culinary Arts in Daejeon on June 9, donating a total of 10 million won ($6,570), the company announced Thursday.

The scholarships went to 20 students, including those in financial need, outstanding volunteers and high academic achievers. Lim Hyeong-uk, head of the communications division at Kyochon F&B, and Kim Hye-young, dean of the college, attended the ceremony.

This year, Kyochon has extended scholarship donations to universities across the country, including Kyung Hee Cyber University, Gachon University, Catholic University of Daegu and Wonkwang University. The company has also continued its social contribution efforts through sponsorship of its sixth self-reliance support project.

"We will continue to pursue a wide range of social contribution activities so that the next generation can nurture their dreams in a stable environment," a Kyochon F&B official said.
