SP Samhwa wins minister's commendation for 14 years of eco-friendly paint donations

SP Samhwa announced Friday that it signed an MOU with the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy and the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute on Thursday to improve indoor environments for vulnerable groups.

The project, hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy and organized by the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute, aims to create safer indoor living conditions for vulnerable populations by reducing exposure to environmental hazards. A total of 17 corporate social responsibility participants, including SP Samhwa, are taking part this year.

SP Samhwa has been a consistent participant in the project, contributing indoor environment assessments and eco-friendly product donations to help improve residential conditions for vulnerable groups and prevent environment-related illnesses.

A commendation ceremony was also held at the signing event on Thursday. SP Samhwa received a ministerial commendation from the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy in recognition of its contributions to improving residential environments for vulnerable groups.

The company plans to donate products from its premium water-based paint line "i-Lux." The i-Lux series emphasizes eco-friendly properties and high quality, and is safe to use in spaces occupied by children. The line has received the Environmental Label certification, one of South Korea's leading eco-friendly product designations.
