Singer Jang Yoon-jung has drawn attention after revealing that while she enjoys drinking, she rarely snacks or eats regular meals.
The 11th episode of "Nego King," a web variety show hosted by Jang on Dalla Studio's official YouTube channel, was posted Thursday. The show follows Jang as she negotiates deals with various companies on behalf of viewers. This episode featured negotiations with a healthy snack brand.
When the production team asked whether she snacks regularly, Jang said flatly, "I don't."
She added that she "barely eats meals either," then mimicked drinking, drawing laughter from those present.
However, Jang said she does eat one thing: apples with peanut butter.
"It was trendy for a while, wasn't it? They say eating an apple with peanut butter on an empty stomach prevents blood sugar spikes. I just eat it — not really for the taste," she said.
Asked whether her children snack often, Jang said, "They love chips, but I try hard to give them healthy snacks."
On a separate broadcast, Jang spoke about her approach to staying in shape. "I don't diet aggressively," she said, adding that she tries to minimize carbohydrate intake. "Whenever I feel like I'm putting on weight, I combine that with exercise," she said.
Meanwhile, Jang married Do Gyeong-wan, a broadcaster and former news anchor, in 2013. The couple have a son, Yeon-u, and a daughter, Ha-yeong.
