Kim Gura's son Gree reveals father vows never to put 6-year-old sister in showbiz

Gree, the son of broadcaster Kim Gura, has shared a fortune reading for his 6-year-old half-sister.

A video titled "(Shocking announcement) Parting ways with Kim Gura" was posted Friday on the YouTube channel "Kim Gree." In it, Gree visited fortune-telling expert Pai, a cast member of "Destiny War 49," to have both his own and his younger sister's birth charts read.

"My father said he would absolutely never put my sister in the entertainment industry," Gree said, adding that Kim Gura had also told him he would not let her do broadcast work from a young age the way Gree himself had.

Gree drew surprised reactions when he said he had been told his sister also had the fate of a celebrity. He drew laughs by joking, "Is there anything I'm gaining from my sister? I'm sorry for being such a useless oppa."

He added that even if she did not become an entertainer, she seemed likely to find work that suited her personality, and that what mattered most was helping her stick with one thing consistently.

Kim Gura remarried in 2020 to a non-celebrity 12 years his junior, and the couple welcomed a daughter in 2021.
