Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who earlier helped broker a truce between the United States and Iran and has since served as mediator, said Monday that the two sides have concluded peace negotiations.
Sharif posted on his X account that "both sides have declared an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon," adding that mediating countries would arrange a series of meetings this week following the conclusion of the negotiations.
Sharif said a signing ceremony would be held in Switzerland on June 19, where the two sides would meet to sign the peace agreement.
