Hyundai Glovis announced Sunday that it held its 2026 Partners Day to strengthen co-growth ties with its supplier network and reaffirm its commitment to mutual cooperation.

The event took place in Jeju on June 11 and 12, bringing together Hyundai Glovis President Lee Gyu-bok and executives from 103 partner companies for a total of 121 attendees.

The program included a general assembly, an awards ceremony for outstanding partners, seminars and a special lecture.

Hyundai Glovis said it has reoriented its partnership strategy beyond simple networking, focusing instead on building the practical capabilities of its suppliers and fostering shared growth across the logistics ecosystem.

As part of that effort, the company selected and honored seven suppliers for their contributions to cooperative growth. Seminars covered workplace safety management for preventing serious industrial accidents, responses to ESG supply chain due diligence requirements, and the current state and future strategy of autonomous driving freight transport.

The special lecture featured Choi Jae-bung, a professor at Sungkyunkwan University, who spoke on "Survival Strategies in the Age of AI Sapiens," outlining how the logistics industry is changing in the AI era and how companies should respond.

President Lee stressed the importance of collaboration in stabilizing supply chains amid a rapidly shifting global business environment, and called on partner firms to join Hyundai Glovis in fulfilling their shared corporate social responsibilities.

The Hyundai Glovis Partner Association was established in 2019 as the first of its kind in the logistics industry. Founded on the principle of equal-footing exchange between Hyundai Glovis and its suppliers to promote mutual benefit, the association has held Partners Day annually, with the exception of the COVID-19 pandemic years.

"Our partners are not simply business counterparts — they are companions growing with us toward the future," a Hyundai Glovis official said. "We plan to continue expanding education and consulting programs aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and capabilities of small and midsize logistics partners."

Meanwhile, Hyundai Glovis has been broadening its co-growth initiatives across multiple areas. In May, it held a port partners co-growth conference with suppliers on the front lines of port operations to discuss ways to strengthen transport competitiveness and deepen cooperation.
