Hyundai Motor launches '360-Day Plan' subscription, cutting monthly costs by up to 300,000 won vs. short-term option

Hyundai Motor Co announced Sunday it has added a new "360-Day Plan" to its vehicle subscription service "Hyundai Genesis Selection," giving customers a more affordable way to experience electric vehicles over an extended period.

The 360-Day Plan builds on the existing terms of Hyundai Genesis Selection — no penalty fees, no contract period and no upfront payment — while offering discounted monthly rates compared to the 30-day short-term subscription, boosting its price competitiveness.

The plan covers four of Hyundai Motor's key electric vehicles: the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kona Electric and Ioniq 5 N. All vehicles come in full-option, high-spec configurations that are difficult to find through standard rental car services.

Subscribers to the 360-Day Plan can save up to 140,000 won (about $92) per month on the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, and up to 50,000 won per month on the Kona Electric, compared with the 30-day subscription rate.

The high-performance Ioniq 5 N offers the steepest discount — 300,000 won off the monthly 30-day rate — bringing the 360-Day Plan price to 1.39 million won per month.

Customers on the 360-Day Plan will also receive connected services on par with those available to vehicle owners. Features previously limited to buyers who had completed owner verification — including remote vehicle control and digital key access — will now be available to 360-Day Plan subscribers through the MyHyundai app.

In addition to remote climate control and other vehicle management functions, 360-Day Plan subscribers will receive personalized research notes based on their driving data. The EV-specific "Hyundai EV Charging Solution" service lets subscribers remotely monitor charging status and control the start and end of charging sessions.

"The 360-Day Plan under Hyundai Genesis Selection is a specialized product designed to let customers experience an electric vehicle over an extended period without financial pressure, building confidence before making a natural transition to EV ownership," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We will continue to provide customers with a more flexible and differentiated mobility experience."

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor recently launched a revised Ioniq 5 model, cutting the price of the Modern trim — optimized from the previous Exclusive trim's specifications — by 1.6 million won, and reducing the Premium trim, based on the former Prestige trim, by 900,000 won, as part of broader efforts to ease the financial burden on electric vehicle customers.
