Coway offers up to 18 months of half-price rentals on ice water purifiers, air conditioners

Coway announced Monday it will run a "Miri Miri Summer" discount promotion through the end of June to meet rising summer home appliance demand.

The promotion covers five ice water purifier models, a wall-mounted air conditioner, two dehumidifiers and three bidet models. Customers who rent eligible products through Coway.com can receive a 50 percent discount on monthly rental fees for up to 18 months.

The five ice water purifier models are the Mini, Standard, Max, Original and RO. The dehumidifiers are the Inverter Dehumidifier 23L and the Noble Dehumidifying Air Purifier. The bidet lineup includes the Manner Bidet Plus, the Self-Care Bidet and the Double Care Bidet 2.

During the promotion, Coway will raffle a "Leviosa Folding Wagon" to 150 customers selected by draw from among those who rent a qualifying product. Customers who rent two or more products together as a package will receive an additional 10 percent monthly rental discount for the duration of their contract. A draw will also award a "Recolt Air Fryer Oven" to 100 package buyers.

Coway will also hold an early-bird special sale featuring three ice water purifier models on its live commerce broadcast "Coway Live" on Coway.com at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Customers who purchase and verify a qualifying product during the broadcast will receive a "A Twosome Place" coffee coupon. A separate draw will award a "Thanks Sowyn airtight container set" to 100 viewers.

Customers who sign up for a new rental of a wall-mounted air conditioner or a Birex massage chair will receive a 100,000-won (about $66) coupon redeemable at the online store of Cel Derma beauty brand Re:NK.

Coway also expanded partnership benefits under its "Coway Members Club" loyalty program for existing customers. Coway customers who sign a new long-term vehicle rental contract with Lotte Rent-a-Car will receive a cashback equal to 3.5 percent of the vehicle price, applicable to all models. Mobile maintenance and engine oil replacement services will also be provided free of charge once a year. Additional perks include one free month of a basic subscription to the reading platform Welaaa, followed by a 30 percent discount for an additional three months.

"We have strengthened customer benefits centered on ice water purifiers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers to coincide with the period when demand for key summer home appliances begins to pick up in earnest," a Coway official said.
