Bridgestone named exclusive tire supplier for Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster

Bridgestone said Monday it has been selected as the exclusive tire supplier for the Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster, the Italian automaker's latest model.

As Lamborghini's official technology partner, Bridgestone will supply two custom Potenza tire variants engineered to maximize vehicle performance on both public roads and racing circuits.

The Fenomeno Roadster is Lamborghini's most powerful open-top model ever built, with production limited to just 15 units. It is powered by a V12 hybrid powertrain producing 1,080 horsepower.

To translate that performance to real-world driving conditions, Bridgestone developed the custom ultra-high-performance Potenza Sport tire, offering high-speed capability, sharp steering response and precise handling.

The Potenza Sport tires come in 265/30 ZRF21 for the front axle and 355/25 ZRF22 for the rear. Semi-slick track tires are available in 20-inch and 21-inch sizes.

Fenomeno Roadster customers can also opt for a custom Potenza Sport run-flat tire equipped with Bridgestone's run-flat technology. The run-flat tire is designed to allow safe driving at up to 80 kilometers per hour for a maximum distance of 80 kilometers even after a complete loss of air pressure.

Both tire variants feature a unique sidewall marking exclusive to Lamborghini, identifying them as dedicated tires for the brand.

Adrien Torman, head of OE sales for Bridgestone's Europe, Middle East and Africa region, said the company's role as Lamborghini's official technology partner and exclusive tire supplier across its entire supercar lineup is about helping customers experience the extraordinary performance Lamborghini delivers.

He added that the premium tires draw on decades of Bridgestone motorsport heritage and the technology behind the Potenza brand — a benchmark in sports tires — to deliver the full performance of the Fenomeno Roadster in any driving environment, whether on the road or on the circuit.

Cristian Mastro, Lamborghini's marketing director, said the two companies are developing tailored solutions through close collaboration to express each vehicle's character and Lamborghini's DNA, calling the Fenomeno Roadster the latest example of both pushing the boundaries of technology together.
