A fire broke out at a house in Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu, at around 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
Fire crews brought the blaze under control within about 20 minutes of receiving the emergency call, but found one person believed to have died in the fire. Fire and police authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze and the identity of the victim.
