BTS is demonstrating strong staying power on the US Billboard main charts, keeping its name on the listings for 11 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest Billboard charts released Tuesday (local time), "SWIM," the title track from BTS's fifth studio album, defied expectations by climbing three spots against the trend to No. 41 on the Hot 100 — a notable show of resilience more than two months after its release. The album "Arirang," which carries a distinctly Korean aesthetic, also held strong at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, reflecting the group's consolidated global fandom.
This week's Billboard charts showed K-pop expanding its reach across solo acts, unit projects, rookie groups and international collaborations.
On the Hot 100, Blackpink member Jennie proved her commanding solo presence. Her track "Dracula," a collaboration with Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala, jumped four spots to No. 10, matching her personal chart best. The result underscores the brand value she has built as a solo artist through high-profile global collaborations. Hybe's Korean-American girl group Katseye also entered the chart at No. 90 with "PINKY UP."
On the Billboard 200, generational shifts and genre diversification were on full display. Aespa placed their second studio album "LEMONADE" at No. 9, demonstrating their global commercial pull and a strong core fandom in the North American market. Kortis, the newest group under Big Hit, also made a move: their album "GRREENGREEN" entered the chart at No. 46.
The soundtrack album from the Netflix animated series "K-Pop Demon Hunters" charted at No. 28, while Le Sserafim's "Pureflow" came in at No. 59. Katseye showed additional firepower by placing two albums on the chart simultaneously — "Beautiful Chaos" at No. 122 and "SIS (Soft Is Strong)" at No. 181.
