About 10,000 people visited the show home for Hillstate Yangsan the Sky, a residential complex Hyundai E&C is developing in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, in the three days since it opened.
Visitors included families, newlyweds and middle-aged buyers, who toured the complex model, unit displays and pre-sale consultation booths.
On-site consultations focused on the location advantages of the Mulgeum-eup area and the complex's design. The development sits directly beside Yangsan City Central Library and Yangsan Central National Sports Center, with access to lifestyle, cultural and medical infrastructure including Yangsan Design Park and Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital. Design features include a four-bay flat-slab layout (excluding the penthouse), 2.4-meter ceiling heights (2.5 meters with coffered ceilings), glass balcony railings in the living room (excluding the master bedroom) and dedicated storage spaces.
Hillstate Yangsan the Sky will comprise two complexes with a combined 598 units. Complex 1 will have four buildings ranging from four below-ground floors to 20 above-ground floors, offering exclusive use areas of 68, 84 and 159 square meters across 299 units. Complex 2 will also have four buildings, from three below-ground to 20 above-ground floors, with exclusive use areas of 84 and 159 square meters across 299 units. About 88 percent of all units are the 84-square-meter type.
The apartment subscription schedule began with special supply allocations Monday, followed by first-priority subscriptions Tuesday and second-priority Wednesday. Winners for Complex 1 will be announced June 30 and for Complex 2 on July 1, with contracts signed over three days from July 13 to 15.
First-priority subscriptions are open to anyone aged 19 or older, whether the household head or a household member. Applicants must hold a housing subscription account for at least six months and meet the deposit requirements for their region and unit size. Homeowners are eligible to apply, and because the two complexes have different announcement dates, applicants may submit subscriptions for both. Re-selection restrictions do not apply. However, those belonging to a household in which a member won an allocation through the points-based system within the past two years may only apply through the lottery-based system.
For units with exclusive use areas of 68 and 84 square meters, the required housing subscription account deposit is 2 million won (about $1,310) for residents of South Gyeongsang Province including Yangsan, 3 million won for Busan residents and 2.5 million won for Ulsan residents. For the 159-square-meter units, the required deposit is 5 million won for South Gyeongsang Province residents including Yangsan, 15 million won for Busan residents and 10 million won for Ulsan residents.
Pre-sale terms include a 5 percent down payment — with the first installment fixed at 5 million won — and interest-free interim payments. As Yangsan is a non-regulated area, resale restrictions do not apply. The show home is located in Beomeo-ri, Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province.
