Lotte Himart offers discounts on new Microsoft Surface products

Lotte Himart announced Tuesday that it will hold a discount event through the end of June to mark the launch of Microsoft's Surface Pro 12th Generation and Surface Laptop 8th Generation.

The Surface Pro combines tablet and laptop functionality. Equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor and Adreno GPU, the device delivers up to a 53 percent improvement in graphics performance over its predecessor. Its next-generation Qualcomm ARM processor, the Snapdragon X2 Elite, supports battery life of up to 15.5 hours.

Lotte Himart will carry the new Surface products at 35 stores with high laptop demand, allowing customers to try and purchase the devices. It is the only offline retailer to stock the Platinum (Silver) color. Stores carrying the new Surface lineup include the Jamsil, World Tower and Daechi locations.

Lotte Himart is offering a 3 percent discount both online and in stores, along with benefits including extended after-sales service and package upgrades. "We will continue to expand opportunities for customers to experience products firsthand and broaden what they can do with them," a company official said.
