Xexymix summer sneakers, sandals gain traction on Go Youn-jung effect

Xexymix announced Tuesday the launch of three new summer footwear styles: the Windy, Air Breeze and Mesh Sandal.

The summer shoe collection focuses on ultralight construction and maximum breathability. The Air Breeze has been riding strong demand driven by brand model Go Youn-jung. Orders surged after promotional images were released, with the shoe spreading by word of mouth as "Go Youn-jung's shoes."

The unisex Windy is a hybrid sandal-sneaker made from highly breathable mesh. It can be worn barefoot for a cool feel or paired with socks for a trendier look. The Mesh Sandal uses a lightweight, breathable mesh that dries quickly even when wet, making it well suited for water sports and beach outings.

"Demand has been explosive, centered on products worn by Go Youn-jung, and we expect the Air Breeze to become one of the brand's signature hit products this summer," a Xexymix official said.
