Residents of an apartment complex have been suffering for months as a neighbor repeatedly shouts obscenities and screams out her window, according to a tip submitted to a television program.
The story of resident A, who lives in an apartment complex in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, was featured Tuesday on JTBC's "Sageon Banjang," a TV crime and incident show.
A said a woman living in an adjacent building has been screaming at all hours — early morning, afternoon and night — for about four months since moving in last November.
Video footage made public showed the woman leaning out her window and hurling obscenities and sexually explicit remarks.
Each episode reportedly lasts anywhere from 10 minutes to about 30 minutes.
The disturbances have repeatedly jolted residents awake, particularly when they occur as early as 5 a.m. "Most of it is sexual remarks and profanity," A said.
Residents have called police multiple times, but the situation has shown little improvement. According to A, the woman either refuses to answer the door or promises not to repeat the behavior, only to do so again.
"Both the building management office and the police keep saying there is nothing they can do," A said.
