Gyeonggi Province holds 4th Merchants' Day celebration in Suwon

The Gyeonggi Center for Economic Promotion and the Gyeonggi Province Merchants' Federation held the 4th Gyeonggi Province Merchants' Day on Wednesday at the indoor gymnasium of Suwon General Stadium.

The annual event is designed to foster unity among merchants at traditional markets and shopping districts across the province and boost morale. This year's edition was held under the theme "Safe Markets, Clean Markets, Economic Revitalization Together."

The program opened with a ceremonial entrance by branch delegations from 31 city and county merchants' federation chapters, followed by an awards ceremony, celebratory performances and group recreational activities.

At the awards ceremony, commendations were presented to merchants who have contributed to the development of traditional markets, including citations from the Minister of SMEs and Startups, the Gyeonggi Province governor and the head of the Gyeonggi Center for Economic Promotion.
