AI designs ERP test scenarios in hours
Testing process automated with root-cause analysis, fix recommendations
Solution unveiled at global IT events to accelerate overseas push
LG CNS has launched PerfectWin ERP Edition, an enterprise resource planning test automation solution powered by agentic AI, and plans to channel its full efforts into expanding the product globally.
The company said Wednesday that PerfectWin ERP Edition is built specifically for SAP ERP systems and draws on real transaction data to automate testing. Companies can use the solution to check for defects and errors before migrating from a legacy ERP system to SAP's latest platform, S/4HANA, or before going live with a new ERP deployment.
According to LG CNS, ERP systems integrate a company's core operations — finance, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and human resources — meaning the scope of processes and scenarios that must be validated before launch is vast. As a result, having individual department staff manually design test items and scenarios has traditionally consumed a significant amount of time.
To address this, LG CNS embedded agentic AI into PerfectWin ERP Edition. Users can rely on the AI to automatically generate test scenarios, analyze the root causes of identified errors and produce results reports.
The agentic AI analyzes the processes and actual operational data for each business function to generate test scenarios automatically. LG CNS said this allows scenario design work to be completed within a matter of hours.
The AI independently determines which business processes need to be validated and what the most appropriate test cases are for each — without requiring staff to issue those instructions. Users can shorten ERP testing cycles while also verifying a wider range of scenarios that human testers might otherwise overlook.
LG CNS has also automated the testing execution process through agentic AI. The AI automatically detects anomalies and identifies error causes during testing, and recommends remediation steps wherever follow-up action is needed. LG CNS said this allows even non-specialists to validate ERP systems with greater ease. The AI also automatically generates test execution reports and other deliverables.
LG CNS plans to develop PerfectWin ERP Edition further into a fully autonomous testing solution. The company intends to build an "agent orchestration" framework this year in which AI agents collaborate autonomously, enabling the system to handle everything from test scenario generation and execution to analysis, error correction and verification on its own.
LG CNS is also using the launch of PerfectWin ERP Edition as a springboard for a full-scale push into global markets. The company recently unveiled the solution at SAP Sapphire 2026 in Orlando, Florida, and in April participated for the third consecutive year in Japan IT Week in Tokyo.
"Building on PerfectWin ERP Edition's agentic AI technology, we plan to actively respond to demand for SAP cloud ERP migration and further strengthen our global business," said Nae Han-sin, head of LG CNS's Enterprise Solutions Division. "We will continue to provide differentiated AX services so that customers around the world can rapidly build an intelligent work environment powered by agentic AI."
