The Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation held its second customer advisory committee meeting of 2026 on Thursday.
The advisory committee is a field-based consultative body operating under a management philosophy centered on on-site engagement and customer focus, gathering diverse customer opinions to reflect in policy.
At the first advisory committee meeting of 2026, the foundation collected 10 suggestions, including policy proposals and requests for improvements aimed at supporting the growth of small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises in Gyeonggi Province.
This session was held not at the foundation's conference room but at the premises of Daesung Industrial Co., a Namyangju-based company newly appointed as a customer advisory member, in order to hear customers' candid views more directly and identify effective, demand-driven policies. Foundation President Si Seok-jung and advisory members toured the facility, observing the actual business environment firsthand and listening to a range of on-site concerns about day-to-day operations.
Advisory members then put forward a variety of policy suggestions centered on the operational difficulties and support needs they experience in the field.
They particularly highlighted the growing burden of raw material import costs driven by a weaker won amid expanding geopolitical risks in the Middle East, calling for expanded financial support to address the situation and the development of tailored guarantee products that factor in growth potential — including technological capability and order and contract performance.
"I am grateful to all customer advisory members for sharing their on-site voices and offering diverse opinions despite your busy schedules," Si said.
