Shinsung Tongsang's children's clothing brand Topten Kids said Friday it is targeting demand for urban water activities this summer with a line of "practical kids' summer looks" designed to work both in the water and during everyday outdoor activities.
As urban water facilities such as Han River pools and park splash zones have opened in quick succession in recent weeks, children's fashion has shifted away from water-only items toward hybrid summer looks that can double as everyday wear.
Topten Kids unveiled a photo shoot Friday showcasing the lineup, which spans functional fabrics as well as cool, lightweight materials suited to summer — including taslan and crinkle weaves.
The flagship Athletic Quick-Dry Graphic T-shirt is a functional daily tee designed for active children, featuring a stretchy, resilient fabric with moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties.
Another key product, the Taslan Shorts, is made from durable taslan fabric and can be worn both in the water and as everyday bottoms.
The lineup also includes the Cotton Easy Shorts, Cotton Slub T-shirt and Kyoni Crinkle Set (girls), all of which work for water play and casual daily wear.
"Kids' wear is evolving to cover not just water play but a wide range of outdoor activities," a Topten Kids official said. "We plan to continue expanding our summer product offerings that combine functionality with everyday versatility."
