Hana Securities relocates Jeonju branch, rebrands as financial center

Hana Securities announced Friday that it has renamed its Jeonju branch the "Jeonju Financial Center" and relocated it to a new site.

The company held an opening ceremony at the Jeonju Financial Center in Hyoja-dong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju on Wednesday.

Twenty-two people attended the event to mark the center's opening, including Hana Securities CEO Kang Seong-muk, WM Group head Cho Dae-hyeon, Central Regional Headquarters chief Nam Taek-min, Jeonju Financial Center head Yu Seong-su, company executives, Hana Bank officials and other guests.

The renaming and relocation were driven by a need to get ahead of the expanding financial environment centered on Jeonju Innovation City and rising demand for institutional financial services.

Through the Jeonju Financial Center, Hana Securities plans to offer not only its existing wealth management services but also specialized capital market solutions covering major local institutions such as the National Pension Service as well as domestic and overseas asset managers.

The company intends to use the relocation as a springboard to expand its financial network with Jeonju Innovation City as its hub.

"The Jeonju Financial Center is a new starting point for delivering more professional and differentiated financial services to customers in North Jeolla Province," CEO Kang said. "We will do our utmost to grow into the region's leading financial platform, drawing on our wealth management and institutional finance capabilities."

Hana Securities has been actively working to expand its customer touchpoints. On Monday, it opened "The H1 W," a premium financial center inside the Hyundai Department Store Mokdong branch in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, offering tailored asset management services for VIP customers.
