Actor Seo Hyo-rim vows to carry on late mother-in-law Kim Su-mi's kimchi legacy

Actor Seo Hyo-rim has expressed her longing for her late mother-in-law, Kim Su-mi.

On Wednesday, Seo posted a video on her social media with the caption, "I'm eating this so deliciously that I wonder if I've always loved kimchi this much."

The video showed Seo tasting kimchi she had made herself. The napa cabbage kimchi and young radish kimchi she had carefully prepared drew attention with their appetizing appearance.

She added, "I miss you so much… deeply… I miss those hands… I want to hear you again… even that sharp scolding of yours…"

Seo also said, "Mom, I'll do well. Please watch over me."

The posts drew attention as they suggested Seo may be working to continue the kimchi business her late mother-in-law had run.

Seo married Jung Myung-ho, CEO of Nabpalkkot F&B and son of the late actor Kim Su-mi, in December 2019. The couple have one daughter.

Seo made her debut in the 2007 drama series "Kkotpineun Bomi Omyeon" and has since appeared in "That Winter, the Wind Blows," "Master's Sun," "The Man Who Sets the Table," "Get Out of My Way, Fate" and "The Sleeves' Red Cuffs," as well as the film "In Dream."
