Lotte Home Shopping announced Monday it has signed a distribution cooperation agreement with Acebiome, the company behind health supplement brand Bienalssin, to support the brand's entry into Japan and Vietnam.
The signing ceremony took place June 26 in Tokyo, with Lotte Home Shopping CEO Kim Jae-gyeom and Acebiome CEO Kim Myeong-hui in attendance. Under the agreement, Lotte Home Shopping will serve as Bienalssin's official distributor, supporting local distribution network development, market access and marketing.
Lotte Home Shopping participated in Lifestyle Week Tokyo 2026, a lifestyle trade fair held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 24 to 26, operating a promotional booth for Bienalssin. During the event, the company held business consultations with major Japanese distributors, health supplement specialists and buyers. Lotte Home Shopping plans to use Japan as a base from which to extend its distribution network into Vietnam and other Southeast Asian markets.
Bienalssin is a health supplement whose main ingredient is a proprietary probiotic strain — the first in South Korea to receive regulatory recognition for body fat reduction. As of last year, cumulative sales had surpassed 20 million units and 1 trillion won ($647 million). The brand has also ranked among the top-selling health supplements on Lotte Home Shopping.
"We are strengthening our role as a global retail platform that identifies outstanding domestic brands and supports them beyond domestic sales into overseas markets," Lotte Home Shopping said. "This agreement is part of our strategy to develop K-brands into global brands."
