Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology blog hits 1.04 million AI citations, named Naver Mate

The Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology announced that its official blog has been named a June "Naver Mate" in the IT and technology category, after accumulating more than 1.04 million citations on Naver's AI briefing service.

The Naver Mate program recognizes outstanding content creators each month based on a comprehensive evaluation of AI briefing citation counts, expertise, reliability and user response.

Since its launch in 2019, the institute's blog has consistently provided accessible and accurate content on construction technology research directly relevant to public safety and daily life. As of June, the blog has surpassed 2.37 million cumulative visitors, covering a wide range of research findings — from road and bridge safety and disaster response to smart construction technology — presented in terms accessible to the general public.

Amid the recent expansion of AI-based search services, the blog's content has been cited more than 1.04 million times in Naver AI briefings, reflecting recognition of the expertise and reliability of the institute's research output.

"This is a meaningful achievement that shows the institute's specialized knowledge and research results are being effectively delivered to the public through AI search," said Park Seon-gyu, president of the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology. "Since construction technology is directly tied to people's mobility, safety and living environment, we will continue to strengthen our digital communication capabilities so that our research can reach the public more easily and accurately."
