Forena Hillstate Jinju to launch first new pre-sale in Ihyeon-dong in 21 years

Hanwha Construction Division and Hyundai E&C announced Tuesday they will launch pre-sales for Forena Hillstate Jinju in Ihyeon-dong, Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, in August.

The complex will rise through the Ihyeon District 1-5 reconstruction project at 10-1 Ihyeon-dong, Jinju. It will consist of eight buildings ranging from two basement floors to a maximum of 35 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,032 units spanning exclusive use areas of 59 to 110 square meters.

The unit breakdown by exclusive use area is as follows: 211 units of 59㎡ Type A, 21 units of 59㎡ Type B, 149 units of 72㎡ Type A, 96 units of 72㎡ Type B, 384 units of 84㎡ Type A, 103 units of 84㎡ Type B, and 68 units of 110㎡ Type A. Of these, 398 units in the 59–84㎡ range will be offered in the general pre-sale.

The Ihyeon-dong area where the complex will be built is part of Jinju's original urban residential zone, with established education, transportation, cultural and natural amenities. No new pre-sales have been offered there since 1,268 units were sold in 2005, making new apartments a rare commodity in the neighborhood.

All existing apartments in Ihyeon-dong are more than 15 years old, and the new complex — the first new supply to come through a redevelopment project in the area — has drawn considerable attention. It will be Jinju's first apartment complex developed through a consortium of major construction companies, bringing together the Forena and Hillstate brands, and is set to become the first large-scale major-brand complex in Ihyeon-dong.

The complex also benefits from good transport links. Nearby Jinju Boulevard and the city's ring road provide convenient access within the city, while the Seo-Jinju interchange offers easy connections to Sacheon, Changwon and other major cities via the Tongyeong-Daejeon Expressway and the Namhae Expressway. The Jinju intercity and express bus terminals are about 10 minutes away by vehicle, and KTX Jinju Station is roughly 20 minutes away.

Educational facilities are also close at hand. Chokseok Elementary School and Daea Middle and High schools are about a 10-minute walk from the complex. Within a roughly 1-kilometer radius, several other schools are clustered together, including Bongwon Elementary, Bonggok Elementary, Jinju Girls' Middle School and Gyeongjin High School. The Jinju City Western Library and the Pyeonggeo-dong hagwon district are also within reach.

Everyday amenities are plentiful as well. Within about 2 kilometers of the complex sit major retail and cultural facilities including Hanaro Mart, E-mart, Lotte Himart, Galleria department store and Megabox. Medical facilities — including Gyeongsang National University Hospital and Jinju Goryeo Hospital — are reachable within about 10 minutes by vehicle. Jinju Public Stadium and Baseball Park, Sukho Mountain, and the cypress forest park at Seokgap Mountain are also nearby.

The unit design has also been differentiated. All 59㎡ units at Forena Hillstate Jinju feature a four-bay flat-slab floor plan. The south-facing orientation and four-bay layout enhance natural light and ventilation, and the design maximizes space efficiency even in smaller and mid-sized unit types.

Each unit will have 1.6 parking spaces, and one elevator will be provided per line of units. Community facilities will include a central plaza, a pet park, a children's playground and a residents' fitness area, as well as a guesthouse, a pet care zone, a sauna, a co-working office, a screen golf facility, a fitness club and a kids' cafe.

The Forena Hillstate Jinju promotional center is located at Daeyang Building, 205-3 Pyeonggeo-dong, Jinju. A model home is scheduled to open in the Juyak-dong area of Jinju in August.
