The transition committee for the 9th elected-term Yeongdeungpo-gu district chief, chaired by Yoo Gwang-sang, wrapped up its 14-day official activities Tuesday afternoon with a dissolution ceremony.
The ceremony reviewed the committee's accomplishments over the past two weeks and shared findings from each subcommittee's examination of key campaign pledges.
Committee chair Yoo also unveiled a white paper summarizing the transition activities and presented it to district chief-elect Cho Yu-jin.
Since its launch on June 17, the committee had focused on drafting a governing blueprint for Yeongdeungpo-gu's 9th elected term — receiving briefings on district administration, reviewing major pending issues, drawing up pledge implementation plans, and proposing policies across various sectors.
"The blueprint for a 'best-in-class Yeongdeungpo' that the transition committee has drawn will serve as a solid starting point for the 9th elected-term administration," Cho said. "I will do my utmost to push forward our core campaign pledges without delay — including accelerating reconstruction and redevelopment, restoring economic vitality, and innovating education and care services — so that residents can feel the change firsthand."
