Annual financial disclosure released
Golf resort income, media settlements also reported
US President Donald Trump earned $1.4 billion last year from his family's cryptocurrency company and meme coin ventures, according to his annual financial disclosure.
The US Office of Government Ethics released Trump's more than 900-page annual financial disclosure report Monday (local time), Bloomberg and Reuters reported.
Cryptocurrency-related activities accounted for the largest share of Trump's income last year. He reported $588 million in earnings through World Liberty Financial, the family-owned crypto firm.
World Liberty Financial was co-founded by Trump, his sons and Steve Witkoff, Trump's special envoy to the Middle East. Witkoff's son Zach Witkoff serves as chief executive.
Trump also reported $636 million in royalties from his meme coin, $TRUMP, and $197 million from the sale of his stake in stablecoin company Hashnote.
Trump also reported substantial income from his golf resort business. He declared more than $290 million in income from properties including his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, CNBC reported. He also reported more than $80 million from settlements with several media companies, along with several million dollars in licensing income from overseas real estate firms.
The disclosure also revealed that Trump received 2026 World Cup final tickets valued at $15,000 from FIFA President Gianni Infantino, 10 US Open tickets worth about $25,000 from tournament sponsor Rolex, and 10 Super Bowl tickets valued at approximately $50,000.
Reuters had previously estimated the Trump family generated at least $2.3 billion from investors since Trump won reelection, and said the new filing offers fresh insight into the family's cryptocurrency earnings.
